What is a Sportrait?

A sportrait is a blend of the words "sport" and "portrait," and it's used to describe a portrait-style image of an athlete or a sports-related figure. This type of portrait is typically dynamic, showing not just the physical likeness but also the energy, passion, and intensity of the athlete or sports moment. It might include action shots, but with an artistic twist—blending the dramatic essence of the sport with the intimacy of portraiture.

Why does Team Sessions say $800 minimum?

$800 will cover a team with a roster of up to 10 athletes. There is an $80 charge per each additional athlete.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based out of Benton, LA and I will travel if my schedule permits. There will be a travel fee, but I try to find the cheapest options available that benefits both parties.

When will we get our photos?

You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 2 weeks (sometimes less depending on the session). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!

Do you use fire or smoke?

I'm always looking to push the creative boundary, so I do offer the option to include fire, smoke, or both in some of my photos. For the younger models, I always check with those in charge first and even offer a chance to feel it themselves. Safety is always top priority when including smoke and fire during the session.

What kind of sports do you shoot?

I've done Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Golf, Fishing, and Bull Riding. I'm willing to do just about anything when it comes to sports.

Do you have a studio or just shoot on location?

Currently I just do sessions on location whether it be a gymnasium, sports field or even on the lake, but a studio is a goal of mine.

Can I bring my pet to my session?

Absolutely! I encourage you to bring pets and any other unique prop you have in mind. I will do my best to incorporate it into your session.

Do you do "Buddy shots"?

You bet! If you would like to take a picture with a friend, sibling, or a group, that will be used as one of your allotted poses.

Can I purchase additional poses?

You sure can. Each pose added to your session will cost an additional $20.
